Question Cheapest place to buy the JCW Recaros?

As pictured below - does anybody know any places that currently have the JCW Recaros on offer? I enquired at my local dealer, but they want nearly £2500 for a pair!!!

Speeding has never killed anybody, suddenly becoming stationary... that's what gets you!

That's a stupid price

IIRC they retail at around £1800 a pair. Try Chris at Menzies in Sterling as i'm sure you could get around 15% off of this.

Try to haggle - I recently went to my local MINI garage to spec an R56 and when I mentioned that I may just get my (JCW) accesories from a MINI2 sponsor after I have bought the car they started to wobble on the price...

The price I was quoted (as I remember) was closer to the £1800 mark even before I mentioned MINI2.

Can these be bought through non-mini sources given that they are a seat used be several manufacturers?

They are Recaro Sportster CS. I purchased mine in full leather, only difference is no airbags & no JCW logo.

The main gripe i had with the standard seats was that i was hanging off the steering wheel trying not to slip around on the leather whether it be on the track or street.
As far as day to day use goes they are more firm than standard but ergonomically correct so very comfy & especially good on long drives.
Simply put they are superb.
