Sounds like my Hifi speakers could do with some more damping material in the doors. possibly also in the back (this is a clubman). Tried to search, but found only how to remove the door panels on first gen.

there's a little plastice pin under the door handle holding the handle surround trim on, pull this out then pull the handle surround trim off. The door card doesn't all come off as one, the outer bit with the sub grill on is separate to the inner part which is part of the cassette. the outer bit just pops off.

is this the same on the standard cooper? if so, any chance of a more detailed run through?

Found the plastic pin and pulled it out, then got no further with it.

When you've pulled the pin out the handle surround comes off.

I've been yanking the handle trim for ages, its not budging lol

As said above the pin pulls out then the circle around the release handle just pulls off
Then the rest is just clipped on

Ill have another look today, really need to replace the speakers!
