I'd seen illuminated door sills in the catalogue for the MINI. Great I thought, £135, I'm having those!

Unfortunately when I spoke to my supplying dealer this is the price in the box, it's another £300 to fit them! Is that about right? Seems a lot. Probably won't bother at that price sadly, which is a shame as I really liked tham.

Same with the flag on the roof. I thought I'd get a silver Union Jack on the sunroof. £99 in the book, £200 if you include fitting. Seems a lot to stick a flag on the roof.

I bough the Works ones for £40 which the logo is illuminated and fitted them myself.

How long did it take to fit them Hugo and is there much work involved?

Does the wiring harness already have a plug for them so they just plug in or do they actually have to be wired?
