So after many attempts and much experimenting, I finally have made my prototype for a horizontal iPod Touch mount in my MCS.

Although just below my Sat Nav was the original idea, I found it too distracting. I settled on the cubby hole infront of the gearstick... and I'm pleased with the result. This is just a prototype (I'm now going to fashion a proper one from acrylic) I just thought the community might like to see, and I wondered if anyone had any suggestions.

My iPod connects through the AUX via a BlueEye connector, thus giving me handsfree on my mobile as well!

I still want the mount below the Sat Nav, but this is not a bad placement. Any update on the progress? Unfortunately I can't make out anything useful from your pics. How is the iphone/ipod touch secured? Thanks.
