Offline | Good question: marked at 30 and 50 km/h. I couldn't find any mention of them in the owner's manual. Anyone? Last edited by swgn : Mar 19th, 2008 at 01:01 AM. Reason: fixed error |

Offline | Do the speeds mentioned above relate to any spoecific speed limits in your country. It is not unusual in some countries to have colour coding on the speedo for the general speed limits in town / built up areas In Italy |

Offline | Amended my original post a little: my Australian speedo is marked in red at 30km/h and 50 km/h. 50km/h is the widely signposted limit within residential areas, though I'm not aware of any 30km/h limits. |

Offline | 50km/hour is a limit fopr built up areas but 30 kn/hour is not something I recognise. I would not have thought that Australian suppliers would change the speedo so I think that the marks are originally from the UK????? |

Offline | OK, thanks all for the advice. I noticed a response that they appear o0pn a lot of German cars but I also noticed it on an Astra (Opel) so must be European. Thanks again ![]() |
