I am having all kinds of problems getting the Homelink garage door opener to work reliably on my 2007 S. I programmed it when I got the garage door opener (a Craftsman from Sears) and it worked OK for a little while. It then started working every second press, then every third, and ended up only working very occasionally.

I had the car at the dealers last week for regular service, and they looked at the system and couldn't find anything wrong. They gave me new instructions, and I reprogrammed it (I programmed all three buttons with the same code, just in case that helped). It worked a couple of times, then we were off down the same old road, with it working less and less of the time.

Anyone got any tips on how to make this work? The other two transmitters that came with the opener work fine every time, as does the external radio keypad.
