Hi All,

After having my Cooper for 10 months, i now getting another band new car. But after looking at the new brochure it seems that the front arm rest may have changed. is this the case??

My old car's arm rest opens by sliding back (a rubbish design

), but the new one seems to lift open?

can any one help

?

(My old car was Jun 07 and the new car will be May 08)

there are 2 armrests. The rubbish one is the 'standard' one they fit when specified. The other one is bulkier, cheaper and more comfortable. I believe they show it in the accessories brochure.

I believe armrest comes as part of bluetooth pack.

I have the 'standard' one and it keeps me from toppling over during driving, but not much more than that...

Hi 737flyer, Mine came with the bluetooth and it slides back then tilts up. not easy to get it to do that, would of been better if it just lifted.

Thanks guys,

Yes, i had the one that slides back then tips up, but it seems a little rubbish because as you go around a corner with your arm on it, it slides back. It has been replaced twice, so i was hoping mini had changed the design!

But because i am having bluetooth, so it sounds like i will have the same old arm rest, oh well here i was hoping.......!!!!
