Nope not here, but it could be drowned out by the other noises (dash, transmission and now the gear lever squeaks when pushed as well)

Mine creaks about a bit from the rev counter and dash on the drivers side, but its only seems to be when its cold or has been left standing, same as my old MINIs. To be honest with me listening to the Ipod I dont hear it anyway

Some of the creaking comes from the vents next to the doors rubbing on the dash, according to my local dealer.

Hi Guys, I found out the other day when I was on the motorway, that the creaking maybe from the steering column, as I did not have to stereo on. When in a stra8 line nothing but when I turned the wheel it creaked, so it may not be the rev counter. The car is in the garage next week for 3 days to have a wiring loom replaced and a seat cover as they damaged it last time they had it in. So will let them know about the creaking.

My missus and I both have creaking from the steering column area. I originally thought it was the rev counter, but the buzz/rattle continues even when firmly holding the rev counter.
Dealer suggested not having steering adjustment at the top or bottom - mine was at the top, but the other half was in a mid-position. Moved my down very slightly, in hope rather than belief. See how it goes

Tried moving the steering wheel down a bit, but still get my rattles from around the steering column somewhere . If anything, worse than before

Mine has started recently. I was still under the impression that it was one of the little knobs inside the rev counter, but will have a play with the wheel now. I do have it pulled all the way towards me, so might push it back a bit.

Hi guys, got me mini back after 3 days in the garage. They think the rattle is from a part inside the steering column, so they have ordered one. Not going back for another 2 weeks, but will let you know if this part fixes it.

Hi Guys, Garage have found where rattle was coming from, it was from a modual part in the steering column.I can turn the wheel now without it rattling. So it was not the rev counter at fault.

My lass's Cooper is exactly the same, hold the bezel around the rev counter and it stops rattling. You don't even have to hold it that tight to make it stop. Will be taking the car in shortly.
