Offline | Is the dock connector compatible with the iPod Touch? Just to confirm, this provides a line out via the dock connector and powers the ipod also. Seems a little expensive considering the price of the dock connector alone... did I miss something??? |

Offline | Yes it provides a line out. Its a dock connector which then plugs into a small circuit board that regulates the charging & gives an audio output, this is then terminated with 2 plug & play looms so you can plug it straight into the car (nothing sticking out of the aux socket or cig lighter) the looms are hand built by me. Martin - have you fitted it yet>>???? |

| A mini is a way of life. | Thank you Mikey, you have done it again ![]() Collected my R56 on saturday and fitted the ipod kit on sunday It took me about 40mins after follow the instructions on NewMINIStuff.com. The sound is amazing 100 times better than using the aux input socket. I love the way i can use the headunit to control the volume. I reccomond this to anyone who wants to fit an ipod in their car . Money well spent![]() |

Offline | If I get one of these mine will live in the passenger storage compartment. Not having the track info isn't the end of the world though. I am waiting to see just how bad the aux input sounds before I order one of these. |
