***** loads of Clio V6's on the road, but in London you do tend to see more of the good cars than elsewhere.

I don't think the factory tried very hard with the first stage kit ,remap, exhaust (probably not stainless) and filter ,but it does make good sense in profit terms for MINI ,and keeps the engine/drivetrain well away from warranty issues and easily retrofitted in dealerships
Beyond this mild tune its kinda tough to keep costs down and make power ,I guess a totally new engine is a non starter the cost versus limited sales make this unlikely.
4x4 is also unlikely due costs and power losses through the drivetrain ,but possible ,
twin turbo very unlikely!!!!! either sequential or parallel -pointless on a 1.6
A 240 output or so is my best guess ,using the existing engine with different pistons, and crank, turbo, manifold, and exhaust and FMIC -then a few styling changes -not too radical- and some weight reduction along the Honda type R lines a sort of back to basics car
somewhere in the £26-£30000 bracket
The aftermarket will always get better results performance for cost ,but the warranty worriers will lean to the factory offerings regardless
