| MINI2 Regular | Any guesses what price it will come in at? If the Cooper S is £15ish, then I reckon Works will hopefully come in at £20k before any options, so with chili pack and a few other options maybe £24k with a good spec? |

Offline | Just back from Geneva, plenty of photos to upload tonight..... JCW exhaust looks bigger than R53 Exhaust. Carbon Fibre bits look good, not cheap. However, dont think these will be standard on a JCW or will more probably be options (at high cost!!) New JCW seats are wonderful, being genuine Recaros items, however, the show car seats were very high mounted - my head touched the roof!!!! No height adjustment seemed possible..... This would be a disaster if it makes production (I'm not freakishly tall either) No underbonnet changes to the JCW car on show save a badge. Carbon Fibre dash was nice and had a idden cubby - wasnt sure if this was new or standard as I've never been inside a New New Mini before.... Shift light on steering wheel column were very pretty but would surely be very distracting if it were not on the track - so I hope theres an 'off button'.... Rear Spoiler is way over the top, looked like they were trying way too hard. General thought on the rest of the car - very nice, but like they say in this months EVO magazine, there was nothing wrong with the original and the new one looks like a Chinese fake. Photos to follow.... |

Offline | I have a couple of photos from the motorshow... Apologies for the size - i've had to squish them a bit. Firstly, I really like the wheels on the demo car And the exhaust looked massive. Really huge, shame there wasn't a standard one right beside for comparison... But I have to agree with Tonyt3, the spolier is too much, really star-trek: I have to say that I was pretty depressed by the mini stands at the motorshow, i really wanted to get some cool mini gadget or somthing form their store, but the stuff was dull. Not only that, but I wasn't so impressed with minis that they'd brought along. At least compared to last year it was a real dissapointment. Not only that, but I really wish the JCW wasn't hashed around, it just looks like bmw want to screw all the cash they can out of it. Really. They should have came out with the full blown 4x4 250bhp beast to start with, if they can't squeeze the juice out of the 1.6, they'd just have to drop in a bigger block! Grrrrr! Why must we wait! ![]() |

Offline | That spoiler is just pathetic. I've seen toy cars with spoilers like that. Seems to me that the exhaust just has oversize pipe finishers - the bore seems much smaller. Another gimmick ???? ![]() |
