Offline | Agreed, they had plaenty of other places to concel them. Its almost like 'showing off' that the car has parking sensors...... If the seats arent height adjustable they will suck. However, the leather/alcantarer effect is superb. Bucket/racing seats are not supposed to be leather as you can slip on them..... The spoiler is a real dogs dinner, and as said above, which really fits the bill - like something off Star Trek.... |

Offline | One thing with the 2ng gen MINIs that I'm not keen on in general is shown here: The new plastic rear roof/spoiler section, and the way you can see the body coloured metal in the gap. So above you have a red line on the black roof. The spoiler..... each to their own and all that. I'm sure it will appeal to a fair few people, but I'm not one of them. |

Offline | Thats a good point that I didnt notice, and you're right - thats a pure design error, especially on cars with high colour contrast. It was my first time with the new Mini... I know, hard to believe...!!! Anyway, I thought the treatment of the scuttle area between bonnet and windscreen was exceptionally cheap looking. The rest of it looked good, with the exception of the central concole, but thats been said a million times already. |

Offline | The gap/colour on the roof spoiler/rear section was something I picked up on early and never quite got over. When I was washing my own (short lived) car it bugged me a lot. More than another other exterior design feature! |

Offline | Yes, thats what the guy said at the show. What a really crappy idea. First off, means my wife wouldnt be able to drive a car set up for me. Secondly, on selling the car, I couldnt sell it to anyone that was average height or shorter as they wouldnt be comfortable at my settings..... What a very very odd idea they have with this.... |
