| 5 days!! | Will there be an R56 GP?? Well, the question is in the title really. Will there be an R56 GP?? I do hope there is, and maybe they may learn to offer more than one colour choice this time around ![]() . When the original GP was announced, Ive promised myself one. So, by the time I would be able to afford to insure one, will there be an R56 GP??? If there is, which one would I have ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Offline | There will only ever be one GP. But who knows, maybe they will do something 'similar' when the R56 comes to an end.![]() Global Moderator ![]() Last edited by LMB : Apr 15th, 2007 at 12:39 AM. |

| Open Door..Step Out..Easy | I'm with LMB on this one, there will only ever be one GP! The whole point of the model was as a 'swansong' for the supercharged Cooper S; a special model in a one-off and unique colour combination to commemorate the end of an era. As the turbo-charger appears to be here to stay, will there ever be another end to production that will need to be marked in this way? As I'm now seriously considering buying a GP as my weekend car I for one hope and pray that there will never be another. |

| Remember | Never say never, I'd guess more on the side of that MINI will have learned some lessons from the GP, so expect to similar kind of work on the factory JCW, and who knows maybe one day another special edition GP ![]() But for me, I'm happy with the current and only GP ![]() The only problem I have is knowing which one to drive? ![]() |

Offline | i can see BMW using this like Audi RS models if they think any milage in it i think it would spoil the whole special thing the car has but with BMW it's profit's that coun't a bit like the 3 Series sport only for 6 Cylinder models now any model 316i as so popular, i would like to think it was exclusive for thr lucky owners that have spent lot's of cash on this rare model. Even mini will not have decided this yet i supose. ![]() |
