Offline | According to Gabe on MotoringFile, the CF piece is around US$ 600. He also says the piece on the aero kit was intended by the designers to be painted flat black, but it seems that aero kit installers are often skipping the step to save money. |

Offline | Doesn't look promising. Here's from the MotoringFile interview with MINIUSA Product Manager Jeff Stracco. http://www.motoringfile.com/2007/07/...e-ask-stracco/ |

| MINI2 Master | Well i'm picking my car up mid afternoon. Only thing left to fit is the exhaust back box. They have a T-Bolt clamp on order that better arrive today. I queried why they couldn't use the existing one on the car. After looking at the original exhaust and the JCW backbox it became clear. The original exhaust is one piece, so they actually cut the existing back box off with pipe cutters to fit the JCW upgrade. 06 HB/W MCS Chilli |

Offline | Hope you love your new car Japper. Do you have the ability to record sound or video? It'd be really interesting to hear the kit from inside the car on startup and driving, even if its only gently during the run in period. |

Offline | I've had mine a nine days now and I've done just over 700 miles so hopefully within the next fortnight it will be run in. The good thing about the new MCS is that it doesn't need thrashing to go quickly. In Wales last week I couldn't believe how well it went up steep hills. You could be lazy and not down shift cos it pulls in all gears with out much fuss ![]() ![]() |
