Offline | All interesting questions and i too cant wait to hear the answers. MKy car has now done 5,000 miles so im comfortable with its performance and im used to it. On Thursday i will be in a good position to drive the car with the Works kit fitted and will report back on its performance. The more people that do this should give us an accurate account. |

Offline | I think thats an official figure though, some of the magazines that have tested with timing gear seem to get the standard MCS quicker than the official 7.1 seconds. Unless Evo timed it rather than using the official figures. ![]() |

Offline | Love to hear what you think of the combination...that is eventually what I want to do, but think I'll sort stereo with mikey first... Just hoping Roland designs the new aero strut brace with the JCW air box in mind...as that I defintely want.. |

Offline | Got a chance to try a JCW equipped MCS today. Unfortunately a car w/ 100 miles on it so I did not thrash it (TOO MUCH) Sound--not much different at low revs but throatier when you get on it. Pipes look much better than cheezy OEM ones. Will work well for me because wifey rarely gets into the throttle so she won't notice the car has been tweaked. Engine felt much more free revving even w/ only 100 miles. I imagine this will improve with miles on the odometer. At first, I would say I was underwhelmed but after re-creating similar driving sceanrios with my car ,I feel otherwise. The JCW kit lets the engine come alive. Will it seriously blow off a non JCW car--probably not but IMHO it will be quicker and feel alot quicker. Worth the money ?--who knows. Are lounge leather seats worth $1900.US---doubtful but that did not stop me. I like how they look and feel, so they are worth it and the JCW probably will fall in that category too-- I AM JUST A CAR JUNKIE. ![]() |

I have been after my dealer for weeks and he said it's with Mr x blaa, blaa. I got fed up today and spoke to service manager who informs me there is no cert, just a print off that they keep on file against my car. This sounds very 'smelly' to me. ![]() 06 HB/W MCS Chilli |

Offline | Washy either that is one big certificate are your car has shrunk. Japper sounds like a Scottish fog off to me, it's easier to tell you there's not one than to look for one. ![]() |
