Offline | My car is stil with the dealer...its taken longer than they thought to put the kit on. Apparently they start with all the downloads and then fit all the bits and bobs. I should have it back by lunchtime tomorrow. Thank god we fixed a price before it went in. |

Offline | Not sure why they quote four hours for this job. They had my car from 8am till after 6pm, I'm not local to the dealer so they tried their best to get it done in the day and worked a little late. Even then the air con didn't work afterwards. Apparently reseting the software will cause the air con light to flash for a brief period after the reset, I forget exactly what they said it was doing but its normal... Anyway mine never did stop flashing.. So after you get it make sure you check everything is still working ok before leaving the dealer. From what my dealer said they fitted the parts first then did the software but I doubt it makes much difference. |

Offline | Picked the car up this afternoon and everything is as it should be. All paperwork including the Cert. Exhaust looks very nice and upon start up there is a nice burble. You cant really notice it until you start to put your foot down but the noise is definately different on the inside...........you can tell thats its throatier. There is even a little induction noise which is very nice. I had a good drive on the M1 although it was raining and the traffic was quite heavy. There is a noticeable difference in the overall responsiveness of the car. What i have noticed, especially driving around town etc is that i can stay in 2nd and 3rd a lot longer when pottering around. The car seems to have bigger legs if that makes sense. Im looking forward to driving it alot during the next week when i will be in a better position to give a full review comparing both Standard spec and Works. There are no regrets at all and im looking forward to the challenge of taming the little beast. ![]() |

Offline | Picked up or new MCS JCW on monday and we are still smiling. JCW Kit no. is 915. Great sound on the outside. Inside a bit quit until 4000 rpm The car has great acceleration and seems like no end to it. Keeping in mind and the car is new we have to be a bit carefull. Also installed for fun was the JCW gearshift indicator. Set to 4500 rpm for now it's great fun. It can be reset later on by ourself to a higher or lower rpm setting Last edited by movit : Oct 2nd, 2007 at 10:44 AM. |

Offline | Local dealer quoted me £1995 fully fitted, is this the norm, or is there a better deal out there that I can use to make my dealer reflect / change their initial quote? Advice and best price requested... |

Offline | Just picked up my car yesterday evening, i had 100 mile drive home, which I did almost entirely with the windows down. I am delighted with the extra performance and the noise, makes the car feel a lot more special. Also, the Aero kit looks fantastic. I'll try and take some pics in the next couple of days. Cheers |
