Offline | Hello. I had the stage 1 kit installed on my MCS about 2 weeks ago. Getting about 36mpg on a run. Having lots of fun with it. Well worth doing! ![]() |

Offline | It really unleashes the tiger under the bonnet. Take off from 1st is better as well as low gears, however the get up and go when you put your foot down is just great even without the sport button pushed. Exhaust has a nicer tone too..... ![]() |

Offline | Certain things have been changed to make the overall charecter of the car a lot different. -A little bit more torque across the board. -More top end HP (it doesn't gass out before redline). -A smoother power delivery (no more 3000 RPM dip). -More sensitive throttle responce. Overall it just drives a heck of a lot better and begs to be wound out. It's great. ![]() Founding member of R56 Anonymous: "Hello. My name is Mike. Offline | A couple of question for jcw owners, (i hope to have mine in a few weeks ) stock engine has the end rpm at 6500rpm (injection cut), i´ve read ecu jcw up this point until the 6700rpm, ¿right? or it´s wrong do you know if the new jcw exhaust is full from downpipe to rear, or just change the parts from catalatyc to rear. regards from Madrid |

Offline | Theres no need to rev an MCS that high, the power starts to drop off before those limits. The JCW kit does extends the power band but from memory its still not that high. The UK JCW kit has a cat back exhaust plus exhaust manifold, though some markets didn't require the manifold. |

Offline | Hi guys, I saw the dyno in scotland, but since you are so many in England that have installed the JCW kit, has anyone dyno his car in order to be informed what was finally the actual gain? Thanks |

Offline | I'm considering the kit but don't have an LSD will it be worse or better with the kit fitted? I think I read someone say that as the torque curve was smoother it actually created less torque steer. Also where can I get it fitted for £1,100? Ithought it cost more like £1,500. Sorry I didn't want to trawl through 26 or so page to find the answer.s1 |

Offline | The kit cost £1050 including fitting when first announced, but now the fitting cost is extra hence approx' £1.5K. The fact you don't have LSD should not put you off getting it. |

Online | Wollaston in Northampton did mine and a few others for £1100 fully inclusive. Superb service as well. The car was in and out within a day. (had to pay for insurance on courtesy car on top) Last edited by SeldomSeen : Mar 15th, 2008 at 09:33 AM. Reason: courtesy car comment |
