Offline | I was speaking to Blue Bell during the week and despite what the leaflet says they still don't have a delivery date, they said they are getting there demo kit near enough free from BMW if they order a set of R109 wheels. |

| MINI2 Master | Each dealer has the option of one package that includes the 192 kit together with R109's and the steering limiter etc. Think the deal saves them around £660 on top of their usual 25% markup. So yeah the kit is basically free. It has to be the R109 wheels not R105's and to use as a demo. 06 HB/W MCS Chilli |

Offline | i'm sorry ... i couldn't help but notice this one line on this quite.... My friend... the mini, while may not be the most powerful car out there, i garantee you, is by far the most special car you can get for under 100k. it smacks a Scion tC in terms of "youification", makes Audi/VW's 2.0L FSI turbo engine envious in how amazing the spool is even with a Garrett GT2560R turbo upgrade, fuel economy and emissions that rivals other "entry level" fuel sippers and can still shame those other cars. on top of that look at how the damn thing does on the track.... using stock 16x6.5 wheels and tires... no LSD, no sports suspension... nothing like that... the MCS turned up a 3:22.9 lap time at the Virginia International Raceway.... that's faster than the "track ready VW GTI's 3:25.1 and the Civic Si's 3:26.5. now add in the fact that there will be a more powerful one with simple BREATHING MODS!, make that with an LSD and Sports package, sports suspension (or even an aftermarket 19mm from Alta ) and your car that seemed not as "special as you hopped for" will easily take on a mazdaspeed3 or pintiac solstice GXP, both of which have more power. last but not least throw in a COMPITENT DRIVER and your mini cooper s will out class, our run, out perform, and stare at any and all competition through it's rear view mirror. they shoudl change the phrase on the cooper s's mirrors from "objects in the mirror are closer than they appear" to "objectsin the mirror or losing" oh and one more point.... regardless of how much power the others have.... the mini still weighs less ![]() 07' MCS |

Offline | Dealers aren't usually that fussed about reg plates as they always tell the punter its the year of registration that counts not the March or September plate ![]() Anyway if they have kits available now why don't they fit it to there current demo MCS which according to them will make all the money back at resale time sir ![]() ![]() ![]() Too many freaks not enough circuses Tell a man that there are 400 billion stars and he'll believe you. Offline | I hope nobody minds me asking this question. But is this Stage 1 kit a genuine power up grade, or just a sound kit with a little more torque to give impression that it's faster. I'm just wondering as new owners who have dyno'd there R56 MCS's have been consistently getting figures of around 195 bhp, on standard cars officially only supposed to be rated at 175 bhp. So is this kit pretending to give you 192 bhp when the standard car already produces this, or is this kit giving you another 20 bhp on top of the claimed figure like the standard car dose, and is really giving you 212 bhp. |
