Factory JCW parts install?

Do you think MINI will eventually start doing the factory install for the Works engine upgrade, suspension, aerokit and other JCW parts in place of the current dealer installation?

why would they do that ?... this way they can charge you double... you pay for the original bits, and then have to bin them and replace when you get the new bits

Might also be type approval issue etc that stops them offereing every variant, so by offering as dealer fit it probably gets round that and gives us a much wider choice as a result.

Wasn't the JCW engine kit on the R53 initially offered as a dealer option and later changed to a factory installed option?
