| Open Door..Step Out..Easy | Conversations like this always make me laugh. Every dealer in the country pays exactly the same for the parts, so there is no reason at all why they can't match this price. Most, for some reason, just choose not to. Please, don't believe anyone in the Motor Trade that says they are "not making anything" or are doing something as a gesture of "goodwill" as it is always bunkum. Does anyone actually believe that labour costs them £90+ per hour? Get real! ![]() |

| MINI2 Master | I'm glad it made you laugh Scrogg. ![]() Whether it can be beaten or not, my point was that it was very unlikely it will. Dealers are in business to make a profit just like the rest of us companies. They're not a charity and £1100 is a GOOD price. Especially on fitting this to a used car because that manifold is not the quickest / easiest part to remove. 06 HB/W MCS Chilli |

Offline | My London dealer has quoted me a final "discounted" price this morning of £1750.00! ![]() Regular price should be £2135.00 but in order to get the ball rolling they will give a very hefty £385.00 off ![]() ![]() Too many freaks not enough circuses Tell a man that there are 400 billion stars and he'll believe you. | Six cylinders two turbos | To be fair to the garage they got the kit this morning and tried to fit me in to fit it this afternoon as a favour....by the time I had driven the car 25 miles back and it had cooled down etc.....they just ran out of time to finish it... 135i M sport convertible |
