Scotland JCW Engine kit or Body KIt

Looking for feed back on options, my wife wants the Skirts, only have to agre as not to keen on rear of kit and front a bit low, but at the price of the skirts better to by kit fit the skirts and grill my self and, sell front and rear, this is option 1

Option 2 forget the Body kit and get the tuning kit and have those nice tail pipes out the back and extra power and response.

Next question will the engine kit make it more attractive to sell than skirts etc, come 3 years time, look forward to the feed back, I have decieded on my option ?? and feel the option i have selected has better chance of some money back come resale.

Derek, you know what my choice would be........................

Also, and i don't have hard facts to back up this opinion, but i think the tuning kit will hold more value than the body kit. MINI's official retained value on the tuning kit is £600.

Get both, you won't regret it! I couldn't choose either so just went for it. 10 days to wait now.

I would go for both... and eventually plan to do just that..

JCW aero kit is a "grower" more I see it the more I like it...even the back bumper...

I should add I originally only wanted the side skirts, but cost differential between that and the full kit was such that I just went for the full kit. Hard to justify £600 on side skirts alone.

I have the same issue... but I'm swaying towards the engine kit.

This is very good guy's building up my case nicely for the wife as it is her car, looking very positive for the option i'm in favour of, keep up the good work.

Aerokit all the way

After all you can get the works badges off Ebay, and who apart from the M2 freternity would know the difference.

The reason I say this is that their is talk of the Second Gen Works kit available soon enough, could be worth looking at a later date.

Rams is this rumor tuning kit based or more brakes suspension and tuning kit all at once, as would not be for me.

But it appears that it's due 2009 and will only be factory fitted.

I'd got for the engine kit (and I am).

Not a big fan of either of the MINI accessory body kits... but they do look OK in some color combos.

I much prefer the stock-looking sleeper style cars, anyway. More go than show.

Hi Derek,I've just voted for what it's worth , it's kinda looking quite one sided at the moment and my vote has just helped that . Is this binding and will your missus abide by the result.?
