R56 JCW 2008 Brake Upgrade Kit

Apparently according to news on Motoringfile MINI are releasing a brake upgrade early next year. Bigger discs means requirement for a redesigned lighter 17" wheel or use of 18" wheel to clear caliper. No promise of kit fitting R95 or R105 wheel according to their info, but found this pic posted on NAM showing the possible kit behind the crown spoke wheel.

Wonder what MINI will charge for this beauty !!

I hope the wheels are the ones we saw on the JCW Racer and the Clubman safety car!

i reckon knowing mini it will be over a grand. So best bet is find out who is supplying them and just by from them. My bet is it will be AP racing as they seem to be supplying a lot of manufacturers now.
