Offline | I really would like a picture of the Gear Knob if that’s possible though Tara & Paul How close are you to your 1200 and giving her a good thrashing?? Is it getting better and better? I noticed the noise getting a bit more throaty just before I came away on holiday ![]() |

Offline | I'll get the camera out this Sunday! Sorry I haven't posted pictures of my knob yet, but I don't get home before dark and I don' use the car for getting to work. We just went over 1000 miles tonight and we should get past the 1250 mile threshold by Midnight on Sunday! We love the R56 MCS, I've had some fast cars in the last 20 yrs, but the new JCW R56 MCS Mini is something else, I drove 30 miles just to buy a bottle of Diet Coke! I've also noticed the exhaust getting a bit louder, we're starting to get more popping sound's etc now! One thing I have noticed is the "tin bucket of nails" engine noise, it's embarrasing! My neighbour asked me this evening if there was something wrong with the car? I told him it was normal, you should have seen the look on his face! P & T. |
