The aero front on that car is the factory fit aero kit (yuk) It does seem to be running some different brakes though.
the other interesting thing is it looks as if it has normal S exhausts not JCW ones....

Odd it looks a bit to suspicuses to be a BMW car, When the GP was tested it was all in black and just looked like a normal mini with a difrent body kit, Where having the Yellow makes it stand out to much

Aslo it does not have a small sticker next to the rear view Mirror that Most BMW test cars have for getting in and out of difrent place !

My guess is, it's a standard MCS testing the upcoming JCW brake upgrade which is rumoured to be released around March next year. This kit needs either a specially designed lightweight 17 or 18" rim to clear the caliper. The GP's rim is the lightest 18" rim MINI have made so far.

"With potential competitors such as the Clio Renaultsport 197 with 197 horsepower or Fiat's 180hp Punto Abarth SS Concept revealed at this past Frankfurt Motor Show and likely to go into production, the first JCW kit for the second generation MINI with its 192hp is slightly inadequate"

One word; TORQUE!

To get big brakes I'd be willing to get some 18" wheels... but put up with that Hippo-sport front end!?! Nooooooooooooooooooooo!!!
