I was at the Clubman launch today and got to drive a R56 S with the tuning kit. I was keen to do so having heard and read a bit about it.

It is a nice car, feels more solid than the original S, although I feel it looses some of the "rawness" that I quite like. I struggled to get the power down today as the roads were wet but it was quick.

I found the steering more vague than my S as well.

It is a very nice car though. Would I order one? Not right now I would wait until I could order it from the factory fully loaded and had longer to spend on a test drive.

Rumour has it from those I spoke to today it may be shipped from the factory with 230 BHP

Also a 4 wheel drive Cooper S is in the pipeline.........
