Offline | Clubman JCW? Personally I think the new Clubman is pig ugly, but this, oh my God, this is just taking the p............! Why a JCW version? Come to think of it, why a Cooper S version? Why didn't Mini stick to the 1 litre and oil burner engines for the Cr*pman? Rant over. P. |

| Lovin' every MINI of it! | It never ceases to amaze me how people are so vocal about the different models. I mean, if you don't like it then don't buy it but why come on here and complain about it? If you have that much time you really should be out motoring more. ![]() FWIW, I like the Clubman and think that a JCW, or sporty, version would be cool. Global Moderator ![]() |

Offline | As far as I know that isn't a JCW Works version, all it is is a Cooper S Clubman with:

Offline | Whats wrong with the clubman ,i think it looks really funky and different , now i do have to say that some JCW bits on the clubman look a bit odd as its a longer and higher car than the hatch, but im afraid if ya dont really like the clubman, then your not really a proper MINI fan.![]() I am ALWAYS happy and smiley ![]() ![]() |

| Giggity-goo! | The looks of different MINI's appeal to different people, whether they be through stripes, wheels, graphics, or indeed a completely different shaped chassis. Now, the looks of the Clubman don't appeal to me. Frankly, the looks of the R56 don't completely appeal to me, although I recently saw a white JCW R56 S in the metal and I did like it. But I won't go and say that I think the Clubman/R56 looks ugly, or talk it down because there are many people on here who not only like them, but have paid a fair amount of money to own one. We are all MINI owners afterall, so be nice. Anyone who leaves the brand is fair game though, so go nuts ![]() ![]() |

Offline | I test drove one of these babys (not intentionally as they didnt have a Cooper S hatchback for me to try). Absolute great hoot to drive! Very easy to drive and not much more off the pace from the hatchback. The only thing holding it back is the extra weight and stretched floor pan. To be honest, pictures don't do the clubman any justice. If you go see one in the flesh, you can see why they sold out . |

Offline | Same here, if someone hates it then why slate it so vocally with nothing but 'I think it is so it is' ![]() There is a MINI for everyone, the Clubman is just another for another buyer, you can't please all the people all the time but there really isn't any need to go off on one slating what car someone else chooses to buy or like. I think personally that the R56 hatch has some serious compromises as it was developed to then grow in the Clubman, and because of this the Clubman actually fills the body styling out better than the hatch version, so if I was having to buy an R56 for myself then I'd probably go for the Clubman out of the choice in the range at the moment. The only problem I have is knowing which one to drive? ![]() |
