Offline | If I wasn't looking into a car now and waited, I would of probably saved up for this! However, It's probably group 19/20 insurance (no good for someone at 21!) and to be honest, the costs seem to similar to what I've spec'd up with the JCW Aero Kit, Alloys etc. I guess this is a wise move to provide a shortcut to people who want all the JCW stuff without having to spec up a Cooper S . Good move I think from BMW! |

| Giggity-goo! | The in gear performane hasn't yet been mentioned. It won't be known until it is test driven, but with the extra power and torque it will probably pull more eagerly right through the rev range in comparison to the MCS/MCS Stage 1 JCW. Also with the upgraded brakes, it may be a better performer on track. I'm certainly interested to see how it goes. ![]() |

| MINI2 Master | Seems a little short sighted this statement, sorry. It's not all about 0-60 times, bhp, and top speed. No point having these things if the car can't handle it. Therefore this model has upgraded brakes, suspension, DTC etc. to improve the driving experience. Also as stated until we see the full tech info and curves it's difficult to make too much sense of what the difefrences will be. And they are throwing in some additional standard kit. The car is pricey, but isn't every MINI. As quoted earlier it is still cheaper that the GP was. What isn't clear is whether the Aero kit is included. Whether this car will have the option to spec chili pack etc. or is it a GP type standard package? If it is possible to spec the car up it will end up being a very pricey little car .I have also being wondering about the lifespan of the tuning kit now. Will they continue to produce it? Or will it be dropped in the same way as the Cooper works kit was when the MCS was released? Time will tell. ![]() |

Offline | I think that the rear of the Clubman Cooper S Works looks well with the larger exhausts and stripes. Is MINI offering rear stripes as an official option on the standard Clubman at the moment? If so, does it have any plans to offer rear stripes as an optional extra on the standard R56 ONE, Cooper, Cooper D and Cooper S? I don't think many people will pay extra to own the Works version, as visually, with the Cooper S Works bodykit, any R56 MINI can look like the real deal, so only real speed enthusiasts will want the speed to match the bodykit, and therefore will buy it! |

Offline | That is a concern of mine knowing the problems you've had but then I could strike lucky and get one that's fine. Problem is going to be trying to keep the spec to a sensible level. Would like to see exactly what will be standard and what won't be. But an extra 20 brake over the current JCW with the overboost that will be available will really make it fly. I reckon in realworld driving the current JCW R56 S would have the same difficulty keeping up with this as my JCW has keeping up with an R56 S ![]() 170508 ![]() |

Offline | Looks nice but with all those improvements is not as fast as I thought it would be, only 6.5 seconds, that is not much better than my works is it? I dont really think that it would be worth the extra money but time will tell when we see it in the flesh. Mini obsessed |
