I was also referring to the new ones, which come very low in reliability studies, the Clio and Megane in particular seem terrible (statistically anyway).

it sounds very meaty

i wonder why they put in the upgraded speakers? They could have added in some other performance bits instead, suspension, some carbon fibre, etc?

Uploaded the output grid (with CO2 etc). Doesn't show the overboost of 280 NM on the chart, but should.

United-States

Why does the American version go 0-60 in 6.2 and the euro JCW do 6.5.... I mean i'm happy as hell because of it but whats the difference are we not getting the EU5 emissions standards that the euro car is getting or something?????

Also I know that mini tends to be conservative with their HP so its most likely 118 or so real but are they conservative with their 0-60 times... just wondering if itl be able to match the speed3 in pure acceleration

The 6.5 sec figure is for 0-62 mph (0-100 kph)

Check the PDF. There's 0-60 and 0-62 (100 km/h) figures.

So is it just in red or all colours?

Do I need to spec stripes?

Is there any point in Chilli as it has aircon, wheels, piano etc

I would think most colours would be available to choose from, and maybe an exclusive colour or two just for the John Cooper Works. Expect to pay £60 to spec the bonnet stripes.

As this model has 17" wheels and air con as standard, I'm wondering whether there will be a Chili Pack available at all. Perhaps MINI will still have packages, but new ones not currently available on the other models. Like a Sports Pack, or Winter Pack as they do in th US.

I would be surprised if BMW don't bring out at least one new exclusive colour for the factory Works car . But i can't see them making metallic paint a no cost option , sorry .

I read in a couple of car mags that you won't be able to buy additional Works Parts. Once the car comes out of factory thats it not extras can be bought for it.

Has anyone heard anything about this?

No extras?

The extras list will still reach as far as your wallet will stretch..... JCW aero kit, carbon fibre rear valance, scoop, mirrors, side scuttles, dash... Then the JCW seats, steering wheel etc etc etc.

Lots of extras
