| MINI2 Regular | Mini Factory JCW Standard Aero Kit Demand list So this probably won't change anything but lets see how many people would buy the MINI JCW if it just had the Aero Kit.... basically like a petition |

Online | If the JCW Aero Kit was included as standard the base price would be higher and I wouldn't want that. The JCW Aero Kit and JCW Suspension should be factory options so you don't have to pay outrageous dealer labor rates to have them fitted. |

| MINI2 Regular | Well i put the topic up their cause alota ppl see 28K u.s. as a lot of money for the car without the aero kit, suspension, or some ppl the recaro seats, Im not to for the recaro seats but the idea is ppl just dont see it as the greatest value without one of these things |

Offline | so are we saying that the factory JCW does not include any JCW exterior kits (aero kit) or interior options like carbon fibre details? The press photos have the side skirts. I'd like to see what a stock 09 JCW from the factory looks like then. D- |

| MINI2 Regular | The model comming out is 09 and even though the press release has the aero kit the stock JCW wont have it... unless you live in the UK in that case you get the JCW aero and i hate you for it.... lol jk but i think this is the first time i wish i was "on the other side of the pond" haha |

Offline | i see. so the only JCW goody we get straight from the factory is the tuned engine and JCW brakes. That could mean that for you to get something comparable to the Press Photos, you could have to spend upwardly to 36k-38k US. ouch D- |

Online | The US/rest of the world spec John Cooper Works cars do not include the JCW aerokit as standard, nor any of the JCW interior accessories. You can still purchase them as extras. The UK spec John Cooper Works Hatch will include the aerokit as standard, but because they want to include an aerokit on the Clubman too, they've pusjhed back the launch of the Works Clubman until Q2/2009. PS - $28,000 for a MINI is a steal. In the UK, we'll be paying the equivalent of $40,000 plus for the John Cooper Works cars. |

| MINI2 Regular | So i was wondering if nobody minds driving on the other side of the car, or if anyone in the rest of europe wants a MINI cheaper why dont they buy it here ship it over and register it in their country.... I mean with the dollar as weak as it is I would be buying everything from the US if I had the power of the EURO right now ha ha |

Online | A US dealership could probably spec RHD and UK-compliant lights et cetera straight from the factory. But when the car was imported back to the UK from the US, the buyer would be paying shipping, import duty, and 17.5% VAT on the purchase price PLUS shipping. Add in the hassle factor and I doubt that there's a saving to be made. |
