"This thing is quick......"

For the last two weeks I've been driving a vehicle which does 0 to 60 mph in 17.8 seconds and which handles like a barge, I haven't driven our R56 MCS JCW since then.

Drove the MCS last night on some dry fast roads and was really amazed just how quick and how brilliantly the car handles!

So drive a diesel powered barge for two weeks and you'll really appreciate just how awesome the R56 MCS JCW really is!!! Fell in love with the car all over again!

Even driving the Cooper after the Fiesta feels great. 1/2 the time to 60, and more torque. Not to say the Fiesta is a bad car to drive, its great, but its not electrifying and exciting enough to compare.

I was only without mine for 48hrs and was reduced to driving son's 1.0 Corsa. When I got the beast back and put my foot down I could feel the adrenalin coursing again. Its soooo good.

We have two cars, the Mini MCS JCW and the V8. The V8 has heaps of power and is certainly not a slow car.
Having said that, I notice the difference between the two when I get back behind the wheel of the mini. The power delivery is a lot more instantaneous and gives a lot more of a push in the back when you plant the foot.
I love it every time I hear the exhaust, the turbo spooling up and feel the force of the acceleration, makes me want to go for a drive now.
