Offline | MIltek Downpipe + ALTA silicone pipes???? Hi been my first post in a while but i have just purchased my 08 Pepper white MCS with JCW tuning Kit. ![]() I was wonder what people have added to there MCS works to tweak it up that little bit more??? My main reason for this post was to ask if any one has fitted a Miltek Down pipe and Hi-flow cat for the one that comes with the JCW kit but keeping the cat back part??? Has anyone anyone fitted the Turbo Inlet Hoses or the Boost tube upgrade??? Any performance gains from these changes?? ![]() |

| MINI2 Master | I've fitted an ITG filter in my R56MCS JCW (192) and have the Inlet pipe & boost tubes on order. The filter made enough difference for me to realise this engine needs to 'breath' better. The tubes should make a difference. The only car person i've seen that has a R56 Works with the stealth cat and all the tubes from ALTA is a guy on NAM from Melbourne, R56JCW is his tag IIRC. With the ALTA FMIC and the ALTA intake he's running around 205bhp @ the wheels ![]() He dynoed after just the tubes and FMIC was fitted and he said it gave 14.5% increase in power and 20% in torque. He also told me that the GTT Stealth cat made around 10whp, and helped more at the top end, whereas the ALTA FMIC helped more at mid range grunt, which shows in the torque increase. Hope this helps 06 HB/W MCS Chilli |
