Online | JCW Ordered!!! Anyone Else?? I finally ordered my Mini John Cooper Works first thing this morning, and its going to be far too long a wait now to get my hands on it. This is the spec i went for: - Aerokit (as standard in UK) - Chili Red, Black Roof, no Stripes (...yet - a visit to MiniPirate will be in order) - Piano Black Interior with Dark Gray colourline - Punch Leather - Visibility Pack - Exterior Mirror Pack - Chili Pack - Multifunction Steering Wheel - (No Nav - i maybe think this is a mistake but it was just too expensive) - JCW Suspension Kit - JCW Strut Brace - JCW Carbon Mirroe Caps - JCW Carbon/Leather Gear Knob - JCW Carbon/Leather Handbrake Grip - JCW Carbon Dash Trim - Factory Ipod Interface - Mini TLC and "Mini Care Package" - not sure what this is. Apparantly its the interior and exterior protection system. Cost £20 and my dealer seemed to think it was excellent - im not so sure?? Anyone any views on it? - Also will be driving up to Mikeythemini's in my first week of ownership to get a proper soundsystem sorted - the HiFi option sounds **** in my opinion. I changed my mind so many times about evry part of the spec and hope ive got it right now! My main worries still are the colour and no Nav. I really wanted Lightning Blue but its not offered. I nearly got White, Black, and Dark Grey and tbh am still unsure! Anyone else ordered - post your spec! ![]() |

Not THAT long but im extremely impatient! It's been bad enough waiting 2 months since i put a deposit down to get more information, pricing, etc, and to this day and actually ordering. |

Online | Of course i will!! The one i bought from you - I have it sitting on my desk and keep looking at it wishing i had the car already to put it on. It is a superb wheel though and i would recommend one to anyone else ordering the JCW or any other mini. I obviously haven't driven with it but it feels great in the hands, and the carbon trims look awesome. Should be today! The car is actually on their online ordering system, with all options and pricing correct. Go and get them to take a look on their computer system. ![]() |

Offline | The JCW steering wheel - how much thicker is it than the ordinary 3 spoke sport steering wheel? Would it obscure even more of top of rev counter? Think I will have to wait at least a year for a factory works as just spent over £26k on my S Works - Think a factory works would top 30k if it had nearly the same spec as mine- you have to draw the line somewhere! What wheels come as standard on factory works? - can you choose black ones ? |

Online | wheel not that much thicker, cant comment on whether it would obscure the rev counter more but i doubt it. The wheels are the challenge design ones made for this car and the challenge rac car. You can pay extra for the JCW range of wheels one of which is black |
