Good video, just ignore the text and voice over as it's so innacurate it's untrue, even the information on the current engine is wrong "old Chrysler-born two-valve" engine?!?

It's all taped up and padded for disguise, much better photos already out there (see the sticky in general discussion and browse this forum too for more).

I was pretty impressed that they reported that the exterior was the same size, while the interior had gotten larger. Clever people, those engineers!

sorry to inform you, but that's quite true. do some research. the 02-06 mini's powerplant does indeed have humble origins.

It's lazy journalism at it's worst. It's is/was a new engine built by a new company jointly founded by BMW and Chrysler (pre Daimler-Chrysler), it was developed for the MINI and has since also been used in some other cars. And it's a 16 valve engine. That's more than 2 per cylinder I'd say.
