I think I'd prefer a brighter yellow than the mustard colour, mind you as I've ordered an astro black one already I guess its too late.

Seen today on the M40 en route from Birmigham to London: two Laser Blue MCS and one darker blue Cooper. Laser Blue is very striking in the flesh and the new front end looks very fresh.

Also saw a GP at Oxford services, so all in all a good day for MINI spotting!

marcus, was the laser blue colour similar to electric blue and the darker colour a bit lighter than the checkmate blue?

Well I only got a glimpse as I was doing errr....70mph and they were coming the other way

I would say Laser Blue is slightly darker, richer, and dare I say it, more masculine than Electric Blue. The Cooper looked more like the old Indi Blue but slightly lighter.
