Offline | Mike - I suspect some of that is the disguised temporary bodywork, it's definitely a different colour to rest of bodywork & it does look very odd (kind of like a Renault Megane, with a step/bump below the rear window glass) . |

Offline | I don't think the front looks as bad as i thought it would originally, i know its still disguised but it doesn't look as awkward as other shots i've seen, and it is a new front cos you can see the shut lines over the black wheel arch trims. All in all things are looking more positive methinks ![]() |

Offline | Yeah - I saw some on the road the other day & right up until the last minute (they were going other way, on other side of road) I just thought they were modded, all-black current ones coming towards me - it was only the disguised bodywork that gave it away. |

Offline | The video you all talking about is the first nurburgring run. These photos are from a later run (in fact only a couple weeks ago). If you look closer the details of the front bumper can be seen through the very light camoflage. The ol pics were of a cooper s with real heavy masking but these new shots show it with very minimal. |

Offline | Personally, I would have liked a bit more progression in the design. I know a MINI has to look like a MINI, but they could have taken a few risks in making it a bit more aggressive. Has anyone noticed that all the prototypes are running around on 16 inch wheels - suggesting that the chassis is being optimised for 16 inchers again - was hoping to go for 17 inch wheels and can't stand a hard ride - too many potholes where I live! I wonder if the runflat technology will be better so it won't be as stiff on 17s. Of course, my order will be in for a Cooper in 07 after the teething troubles are sorted out! |

Offline | Does anyone know if the JCW S will have a more aggressive look as standard. I heard it may be a stand alone model like the M3 is to the 3 series and not so much a dealer upgrade. Another thing, just imagine what a cooper s would be like if bmw let jcw and their m division both produce a mini together. That would be interesting! |
