Offline | Autocar Pictures Anybody else spotted these yet? http://www.autocarmag.com/news_article.asp?na_id=220396 Really not sure I like it based on those - front end far too bulbous. Quite like the silver spy shots from Bild though. -- All MINIs are equal, but some are more equal than others. |

Offline | PMSL at Autocar "New Mini undisguised", so, err, what's the silver tape all over them if not intended to be a disguise? Got their dates confused too in the report. I like it. But I may be biased. |

Offline | Unfortunately because they have been forced to increase the pedestrian impact area the extra overhang looks a little odd at the front. Both the current MINI and the classic mini have always had the wheels at each corner. Its looking a little like one of those cheap plastic MINI models where the 'chassis' is used for lots of different cars and doesn't quite fit the car correctly. The back end looks great and it will be nice to see what they have done with the rear lights, i do actually like the front it just looks a little long from the side shot.Mind you ,they never look really good until all the tape and disguise is off. I will no doubt really like it in the flesh and end up ordering one before the year is out. ![]() |

Offline | I think the computer generated photos from autobild showed the car 95% as is gonna be all along from back then... If you think that your 200bhp engine is the reason you are slow...500bhp wont make a difference... |

| Jay | On 1st glances... it reminds me of a very big shopping trolley that hasnt had the adverts fitted on the front yet [probably because its silver and plain]... I think, the only good thing to come out of the new model, is probably the strength of the values of the Old one :P [center] ![]() iCkLeJaY awaits his Mini adventure... Driving Test Yet to be passed JayT |
