Just dusting this thread off a year later...
Sadly my car didnt live up to its early promise and appears to be a bit of a Friday afternoon job...

But in for a penny in for a pound if I can convince myself that mine is a one off and that the next will be a bit better I am starting to think about speccing the next one. This time it is going to be a Factory works I think....

Shame yours didn't live up to expectations. But I'm still more than happy with mine and no faults to report. I don't think I'm quite ready to spec the next though ... at least not until the colour range for the factory works is expanded a little

It has been a bit of a disappointment to be honest. The thing is as much as I look at other cars I still like having a MINI around the place so am going to try one more.

Not ordering until after christmas anyway so the new black should be available by then if I want to go that way...

They've added Laser Blue to the JCW now. BRG, Pure silver and Mellow Yellow on there by the end of the year.

Mine was ordered late last month from hexagon. Dam I changed the spec about 600 times, poor buggers. Anyway, here's what I got:

MCS
Black with Black roof and mirrors
cloth/leather interior in carbon black
17inch crown spokes
Chilli Pack
LSD
Sports suspension

It won't be standard for long, looking to replace the TMIC with a FMIC along with the suspension for KW's. Exhaust will be next along with some sway bars and strut bars and a new computer and brakes.

Wheel change needs to happen STAT.

Delivery for mine should be by the end of the month. Want it now! It's my first mini.

Have driven a GEN1MCS and MCS/JCW and a standard spec GEN2MCS. Hope mine is better than all of them!
