Offline | I don't think it's something I would be telling the salesman, but when ordering my Works after the test drive, The salesman made a point of showing me all the bits and bobs under the bonnet!!?? I consider myself to be a major car enthusiast, if you think of cars as means of getting from 'A' to 'B' then maybe what the engine looks like, Isn't very important to you; To me the engine of a current works S looks the business; considering it's being sold as a Tuned Hot Hatch with performance in mind. And on a final note I think a lot of 'S'/S works owners around the site may share the same view. I know i will be Admiring the engine bay of my GP. ![]() |

Offline | I consider myself a massive car fan and I haven't lifted the bonnet of my MINI to show anyone once in 4 years of MINI ownership. I don't really mind what the new engine looks like, all i care is that it goes better and is more economical than the current car ![]() |

Offline | I wouldn't really be bothered about the engine bay of a one or cooper either; in the same way I ain't bothered about engines of corsa's and fiesta's; I'm talking mainly about the 'S' and the S Works; There is plenty on show underneath the bonnet of those two . |
