Offline | New model on sale 18th November..... We already had information that the new cars will go on sale in the UK on the 18th November, but the Dutch press website is the first to carry any "on sale" information, and that also states the 18th November. So I assume all major (European at least) markets will get the same date of the 18th November. |

Offline | The prices are in the "full press release" in the news section www.mini2.com/news.html but accessory prices are yet to be announced. |

Offline | I'm sure I read elsewhere on mini2.com (damned if I can find it though!) that orders could be placed on BMW's system on Monday (21st Aug), which would fit in with first deliveries in November. I spoke to both of my local dealers today (Hexagon of Highgate and Stephen James in Enfield) and both said that they were not going to be able to take orders on Monday and that they had no further details on the new Mini (no fabric swatches or colour charts). Both dealers are expecting first deliveries to be in December-January. ![]() Both also said that Europe are getting cars earlier than the UK because they are out of stock of the current model, unlike the UK. Has anyone heard anything different from a UK dealer? |

Offline | Yep. I know some dealers (so really should be all) do have little brochures, and they expect to be able to put the orders on the system on Monday. That's where I got the information from. |

Offline | Cheers Paul. I can't believe my local dealers don't want to take my money ASAP , so I guess they're not being fed the information from BMW. I'm sure they'll be on the blower as soon as they know they CAN place the order properly. |

Offline | I can't imagine BMW are sending out brochures and information to some dealers (I know in UK and Ireland) and not others?! Would be a strange way to communicate with your network! Even then, most dealers I know of have had "interested" lists for a long time, ready to put on the system as soon as opportunity arises. |

Offline | Yeah, I've put down a refundable deposit and will be called as soon as they're able to formally spec and place an order. It's just a little surprising that they seem to be so bereft of info. I'll just have to be patient... ![]() ![]() |

Offline | Just phoned Bavarian in Belfast and they are currently not able to spec the cars but they are able to take deposits (£500) and give you one of the first of their allocation. I also phoned Park Lane Mini in London and they are in the same situtation, taking orders for the first 'build slots' and they expect to be able to finalise spec middle of September - whichwould fit in with the 8 week lead time required. Both dealers expecting mid November delivery. |
