Performance figures.

I have to say that whilst the performance figures show that incremental improvement you woudl expect from a new model the gains on CO2 and fuel are very strong indeed.

This is very good news as the current s really is too thirsty!

The improved fuel economy is very much a welcome thing, and improved CO2 figures must be good for UK tax (I assume it's going to be cheaper now, seems much improved).

Well it will mean cheaper tax but also may become a popular company car with improved CO2 figures.

if i got 06 cooper s as a company car they take 28% of the new value and add to your salary and tax you @ 40 % on money you havent earned hopefly the new model will be better as im getting £18000 to spend on a new company car i hate company car tax

I'm sure the lack of worry about tyres, insurance, road tax, repairs, servicing, driving economically, depreciation, etc., etc., make up for it though???
