Hey i've put my deposit down a few weeks ago for a MCS, popped in the dealer today as i was passing to see if they had any more info

They said that when the dealers are ready for speccin them up, you will be able to spec a JCW ready for the middle of november?!

That true?

Would be the first I've heard of it (and any of my contacts for that matter). It'll be a long wait for the JCW! But, you can spec your MINI now, and it will be ready for November (if you're high on the list).

really? apparantly we are one of the first people on the list at fairfield, but he didnt say anything to us about speccin it?

maybe ill ring a different local dealer tom

On the system they have details of the standard car price, as well as options prices etc. already. Check the s-speccin' thread in this forum for more details. They are not at a stage to "firm up" any orders, but I and others are already on the system, week 44 build, 45 delivery (the week before launch).

I'm number one on the list for a JCW at the mo. It will be a fair old wait for it I think and it certainly can't be specced yet (especially as it's not even been announced yet).

I would expect it to be out sometime after the One and Diesel are launched. I would hazard a guess at somewhere between that and the Clubman launch but who knows???
