...........as requested, here it is, the R56 JCW S Speccin' Thread.............

Following on from the highly successful S Speccin' Thread , where a lot of JCW powered cars were specced, it was suggested that we should have a dedicated JCW thread as the JCW and GP now has its own forum.

So, lets get some preliminary speccin', speculation and theorising done in here then !

Heres my preliminiary Spec

Chilli Red / White
Chilli / Sports Pack ?? - If BMW is true to form, there may be a standard Sports Pack as on the 3 and 5 series perhaps? I'm assuming 18" wheels?
Full Leather - Red / Black? - I'm assuming this might be available by then?
Recaro Seats
MFSW/Armrest/Bluetooth
Exterior Mirror PackBonnet Stripes
Chromeline Interior
Visibility Pack
Colour Line Rooster Red
Brushed Alloy Interior Trim
Auto Air Con Upgrade
Navigation System
Hi Fi Loudspeaker System

That will do for starters

Chili pack
Bluetooth
Sat nav
Vis pack
Hifi speakers
MFSW
Chrome line interior
Storage pack

that will suffice for now. Back to figuring the interior options

Have there been any whispers about when it might be launched? There was a delay of about a year between the first gen. MC and MCS; but this time they will be appearing together - so why can't [I wonder] the JCW also be included - especially as it is now a factory model?

Hmm, right, heres my theories on the new JCW

1. The JCW bodykit will be fitted as standard.

2. The 18" composite wheels may be fitted, or may be an upgrade - there should be new JCW wheeels though, probably in 17" with the upgrade to 18" available.

3. The headliner will be anthracite as standard.

4. There may be a new JCW badges steering wheels and gearknob.

5. JCW sill strips will be included.

6. The JCW brake kit and suspension will be fitted, this includes drilled discs this time.

7. Engine power will be a minimum of 230 bhp.

Im surmising some of this from previous experience of BMWs Sport pack options available on the 3 and 5 series.

Now, do I wait, or go with a standard R56 ?
