Double yay!!! So now I can sort out tuning my DS. Will post back with loads of piccies when it arrives. ![]() James - "The Rogue" - DS/W MCS |

Offline | It was all going so well Had my Cooper S for 4 weeks and it has been fantastic. Can't wait to complete running in - 400 miles to go. Fairly basic spec compared to most - Chili Pack and Limited Slip Diff. Very impressed with the handling and feels pretty lively even when limited to 4500rpm. Have unfortunately hit a bit of a snag though - I've noticed a paint flaw down both sides of the car (only visible in bright sunlight) and suspect it will need a respray. Not something I'm relishing on such a new car, just hoping I can resolve without it taking the shine off what otherwise is such a great car. |

Offline | Thanks cc07ers. It's a great site, just one downside that seeing everybody else's cars I do nothing but question the spec I should have gone for. That said I'm very pleased with what I've gone for (save the paint hiccup). My spec is... - Laser Blue, with white stripes and roof (obviously) - Chili pack - Sports suspension - Limited slip diff - Standard dash/trim (Carbon Black part leather seat, Grey colour line and check trim) |

Offline | MCS Astro You can read about the problems on another thread - but I've had my MCS for 3 days now. 500 miles on the clock already Some photos: Flickr: Photos from helvoi Only problem left is with wind noise on sunroof. Drive is so much beter than my old MCS. We could even look at doing long journeys in this car.... |

Offline | I'm undecided at the moment. I've got the garage to accept there is a problem and conveyed my serious concern over a respray of most of the car when only 4 weeks old. They are meant to be coming back to me today to propose a solution. Also plan to take advice from friends I've got who work in the car industry. I'll post an update on the appropriate thread asap. |

Offline | There were marks in the paint on my Laser Blue MCS when delivered to the dealer. The dealer spotted the problem and we agreed a respray of the bonnet , front wing and drivers door. They did an excellent job and as part of the deal I asked for, and got, a free Ipod connector to make up for my disappointment. I would play it the same way again. I did make it very clear that I expected a top class paint job and am satisfied that I got one. |

| 220hp+ or Bust! | Greetings! I just turned 1000 miles on my laser blue MCS. I still can wipe the grin of my face. Done a few mods to it and this weekend I will lower the beast a bit Miltek catback, 19mm swaybar, JCW carbon scoop, JCW Carbon Fiber Plinth, 30% tint. Cheers and good luck to all the fellow R56 owners Giorgio |

Offline | hehhehehe... it's 1:28am right now so I can't take any pictures. I'm being a rebel by staying up and surfing through Mini2 instead of studying. Pics will be posted this weekend. But my spec's are: MCS with PW/PW top and tuscan beige interior. |
