Offline | Both looking glorious guys. I had the same s winder wheels on my MCS Bishamon when it was delivered but in white, I swapped them for some R95 replicas, I must put the s swinders on the bay and get me some cash, I still have a set of 15" rocket wheels with delivery mileage sat in my garage from when I got my last MINI ONE three years ago. ![]() Nice plate Bishamon is that the regular one, over here 'private' plates cost a fortune, the DVLA (the government body that issues the plates) realised a few years ago that there was money in selling the plates and now most plates that spell out a word or name cost a small fortune and even really ambiguous ones that hardly look like the word they are supposed to be still cost a small fortune. to quote ABBA ...........Money money money Very nice to see an all red MCS, quite rare. Looks great there VeryRedMCS ![]() |

Offline | My plan is to use the S-Winders with all-season tires as my winter set (assuming they perform acceptably well this winter), and pick up some nice black 17" or 18" rims/tires in the spring. Yeah, that's my real plate. They cost me about $200 a few years ago, and even now the prices are still less than $250 for a set, or just over $300 for a set including a graphic (graphics include things like club logos, sports teams, government agency logos, etc... you can even get the Star Trek emblem). I have another set somewhere that I haven't used on a vehicle in years, and they only cost about $150 ten years ago. The price has been going up, but nothing compared to what you have to pay over there. |

Offline | Just bought my Mellow Yellow Cooper S 2 weeks ago, it's just passed it's 1st birthday and very happy so far. I will post pics once I have fitted some flame spoke alloys to replace the sidewinders currently on it and given it a wash. I only just worked out that you need to have the engine runing to access all the sub menus (I wish it stated this in the hand book). |

Offline | Congratulations and welcome to the forum. You don't need to have the engine running to access the menus, just have the ignition on and press the start button without pressing the clutch. |

Offline | My car arrived at the dealer today and I got it tonight. I'm glad to be completely on board now that she's here. Just in the first evening I've driven about 50 miles and I like it even more than the test drive and the looky see at the dealer and New York & Frankfurt Auto Shows. I look forward to breaking her in and then doing a few tweaks and adding some more personalization items. Here's the stock Specs: Dark Silver Black Bonnet Stripes Black Roof/Mirrors Cold Weather Package Premium Package Convenience Package Sport Suspension Dynamic Stability Control Front Fog Lamps Xenon Headlamps w/Power Wash Limited Slip Differential 6-Speed Getrag Manual 16" Bridge-Spoke (Performance) Sport Seats On-Board Computer 6-spkr AM/FM CD Player Anthracite Headliner Cloth: Checkered Carbon Black/Black Interior Surface Checkered Respectfully, Shawn |

Offline | I finally got everything programmed except the homelink. I too have a big grin on my face and look forward to really letting the revs fly once I've passed 1200 miles. I will try and take some pictures in the next few days. I'm hooked! Shawn |

Offline | Sparkling Silver MCS - Love it! This is my first experience with having a Mini as I've jumped ship from an MX5....WOW, are these things just the most fun!! MX5 was a hoot to drive too, but the Cooper S has the dynamics and the power you sometimes need ![]() It's quite well specced too, it's a Chilli with full leather, sunroof, sat nav and stripes of course ![]() |
