I've ordered one in Astro Black including roof and mirrors. Should have it by Xmas (so the sale rep said). Will post up some pics when I get it.

Yes, i'm still waiting , was told that it has been pushed back a week, but what i really think is that the dealer had 9 cars on saturday when i went to the showroom, where they had ordered 7 cars for them selves ( dealer own cars), this intern has pushed everyone else's back, but i was updated on saturday night, that it will turn up this week, im not to happy as im off to spain on thursday night . and either wont get it in time , or then not here to take delievry of the car , ,,,,,,,, i just cant win !!!!!!!

Mine's built, as been since the 13th, last I knew it was awaiting a fix with many hundreds of other cars at Plant Oxford.

Hope they hurry up.

I havent got mine, but I ordered one on Saturday, in fact we ordered two but the other is a Cooper. I did drive the new S, never drove the previous model so can offer no comparisons. I did enjoy the new car though, plenty of mid range punch......... mid december is being quoted for delivery.

Olly,

My spec ....

Laser Blue Cooper S
White roof and mirrors.
17" Crown Spoke wheels
Chilli pack
MFSW
Heated washers and mirrors.
Alloy dash trim

I was going for the storage pack but glad I didn't now !

The dealer had an S with similar spec at the Friday launch party so I had a chance to check it out. Glad I went for Laser Blue, it looks great. The only thing that really bugged me is that the half leather seats are only about a quarter leather !

Doh! I thought I'd left behind silly little issues like this when I decided to trade my Renault Clio for a Mini... Hope they sort them all before delivery.
