Sport Button

May be a silly question but can i ask about the sport button. I know it gives a better drive and handling but is there any problems caused by keep having it on?

if not why would you ever want to turn it off??

...so that your shifts aren't as hard, the steering isn't as stiff, etc. For those of us that love to toss these things around on the track/through the twisties, we agree with you.

For those MINI drivers that prefer something a little less sporting, thats who the button is for. I would imagine that leaving Sport off would provide a little better fuel consumption, also.

It's the same as having ASC+T or DSC, being given the choice to turn it on and off at will is better than just having the option to have it or not.

I have realised on my new R56 Cooper S even without having the Sports button on when parking the steering becomes very light and very easy to park the car.

Is the sport button standard on the New MINI Cooper S? I do not see it on my option list.

MINI, it is a way of life.
