hi guys .... soon iam going to join the mini family, 90% looking foward to buying the new mini S , but shall I get the manual or auto? never experienced the auto... any expert advice? I like to get the max out of a car ... mostly i drive in the city... any idea about performance? auto vs manual?

Depends what you want to be honest!

Personally I would never consider an auto I just want to change gear myself and be in control.

If you want better performance, and to "get the max out of a car" then it has to be the manual. The Auto is slower and less efficient than the manual.
