So when will it be here???? God knows.... but im excited again!!!

My DS MCS was built on Friday. So not sure how long it takes to get to the dealer.

Not quick enough !!!

Snap - it's also the build week for my LB Cooper S

Our club is doing a factory tour tonight so i'm hoping I can spot it on the production line

My build week as well

Lighning Blue MCS, hoping to get it next week before Christmas

Its 5 months ago since I ordered the car and it has been a VERY long wait

Must be DS week last week, and LB week this week, by the sound of it.

I must arrange for one of those factory tours, how long do they last? and how long in advance do you have to book?

You only have to book about a month in advance if you are in a group.. If you are going on your own they can give you a slot which best suits you and don't need as much notice - they now do tours on weekday evenings or at weekends..

The tour is about an hour and a half long but if you have any specific interests then they will take that into account on the tour - they are very helpful at the Plant..

The plant tour was awesome and we all had a briliant time. It made me even more exicted about getting mine

.. Sadly I didn't get to see mine in production because the dealer tells me it has been delayed by a week..

Apprantly all MINIs that were due to be built this week have been delayed until next week because of a problem with specing all the options in the factory - my dealer did say there was still a chance that things could change and it might be built this week but not to get me hopes up

..

Did you see Lightning Blue cars being produced? How does it look?

Tiger - you just need to phone the plant on 01865 825 842 and find out when they are doing a tour that suits you. They are very helpful there..

I did see Lightning Blue on an R56 and on an R52 convertible (!) - it looked great on both

are you sure it was LB David on the R52 convertable? are they doing that colour on the R52 convertable now? as when i looked at it i thought it was Hyper blue, but i was so excited at being there i may be wrong
