Well after much deliberation and help from guys on this site, i placed an order with my local dealer this afternoon for 1st March delivery.

Spec is as follows,

MCS in Pepper White with Black Roof/Door Mirrors and Bonnet stripes
Chili Pack with Auto Aircon and 17' Flame alloys
Carbon Black Puch Leather seats
Anthracite Headlining
Brushed Alloy Interior
Darkened Rear Glass
Heated Mirrors and Washer Jets
Visibility Pack
Chrome Line Interior
Chrome Line Exterior
Heated Seats
Rear Parking Sensors
Bluetooth Phone Preparation
Front Centre Armrest
Hi-Fi Speakers
Multi Function Steering Wheel
Dynamic Stability Control

I really cant wait.

Almost forgot, im getting the TLC and Ipod Interface thrown in.

Im just off to check how many weeks ive got to wait before i get back behind the wheel of a MCS.

Nice spec. Did you order a colour line or just going for the grey?

If you are you might be better sticking with silver dash. When I asked, people said the paino black looked better with a colour line. I'm getting red colour line with piano black.

Im going for the grey, didnt bother with the colourline. But i do think that it will look nicer with Piano Black instead of the fluid silver. Decisions.

Will look great.
I've gone for fluid silver as it makes a contrast against the rest of the interior. Have seen Piano black and with the black door rings looks quite sombre. The silver lightens it up, but each to their own.

the brushed alloy finish is good too - I've seen it in the flesh - more interesting than fluid silver, with the metal grain, and it feels like the real thing....black piano is nice but it does attract finger marks- i trust wood is out of the question???

Yep, Wood is defo out of the question. I might make some efforts to see the brushed Alloy in the flesh as it were.

they have a mini with the brushed alloy finish in the park lane showroom!! - if you're in the west end - in fact it is crammed full of r56 mini's!!

Ive now added the Brushed Alloy, Sports Suspension and the DAB Radio to my forthcoming car. Im now putting the brochure safely under lock and key...........ive spent enough but i know deep down that its going to be worth every penny.
