Offline |  quick is back mini in greek mountains pics First of all i would like to express my apologies to all about the delay of the uploading the pics but as soon as i got in the car i couldn get out. I was driving driving drviving and ...................driving. First impressions. The best car i drove untill now regarding the handling. The smile on your face is coming after the first turn.Its a train !!! You can change lanes on a sppedway and the feeling you get is that the car is not turning but its going horizontal as soon as you turn your wheel. Whatever you ask the mini is following your moves. The sport suspension is just as stiff as it sould be .It s hard in the first 500km but then its stabilizing in a perfect stiffness.Hard but not bumpy. Great vision from the big windows and the sunroof is giving a feeling that you are in a cabrio (its big) Regarding the power its a 2 mode car. By that i mean that you can drive the car smoothly and you dont get the idea of what monster is under the hood.but as soon as you request immidiate acceleration is there waiting for you to discover your personal speed limits. I can discribe the engine as hidden monster.The beauty and the beast in one small package. There are no (bad) sounds exept when you speed up after 120km you can hear the whisling sound coming from the sunroof. The standard hi fi is not the best you ever heared but is bearable.(consider upgrading) But the real fun is there when you drive i was passing everything i saw on my way. The only cars that where holding me next to them was Porche ,S2000 and they did it after a big fight.And imagine that i didnt pass 4500rpm but this means even 170km/h with 6th gear.Believe me they are afraid of the mini like the devill from hell. As soon as i finish rotating the car they are dead also. The sport button is a big must.Its doing all it promises. The driving wheel i getting stiffer and accurate the power is coming to your foot in the half time than before you press it . On the national road is a fantastic weapon beacause the car is small and in high speeds if the driving wheel is loose it needs more effort to hold the car in a straight line,but with the sport button on forget it its a train on rails. The quality of the interior is beyond words.You can appriciate only with your own eyes.(I want to sleep in the mini). My Z4 was a great car with an amzing look exellent driving but the fun you get driving the mini is something else to experience. All of you that read my spec you can see from the pics that the stripes are missing. Explenation from the dealer was that the old cooper s stripes will fit in the new one but his was wrong they where 2cm shorter from the end of the hood.They order them and i will have on in a week. This shows the diffrence from the old to the new s even the hood is longer. Also there is a good detail that i learned about the color Laser blue is coming only with cooper s.This was a big plus for me to decide the color. The auto air con the cruise control also worked perfectly. Anyway bottom line the car its a fantastic combination of user frindly weapon to you hands. Im in Love already. For those of you that thinking of buying it stop thinking and go place the order its a winner. Thank you for sharing these lines with me hope to hear from all of you soon.
